Satellite Explorer app for iPhone and iPad

Satellite Explorer. is a tool to track satellites in real time. It is not a game. This version is a simplified, easier to use version of the Satellite Explorer Pro app which is available in the app store. The satellite track, location and coverage circle are displayed on a map. Tracking information needed to locate the satellite is displayed below the map. The program is very easy to use. Three of the text boxes under the map have their contents displayed in bold type. Tap on the Sat Name text box to select a different satellite. Tap on the My Grid text box to set your location. Tap on the AOS text box to bring up a list of parameters for the next several in-range passes. Orbital information for the satellites is downloaded from the internet. The Web Update button will download current data if an internet connection is available. A Help button provides additional information. Have Fun.
